I have read this manifesto before but this time around there are two points that stick out to me the most. The first is number 29 which says "Think with your mind.
Forget technology. Creativity is not device-dependent." This is really important to me because I sometimes attempt to create designs based on what a program or a piece of technology can do. That really isn't design or art me just special effects. I believe that if a person has a great idea and they really want to manifest it they will find a way to execute it, no matter how technically savy they are or aren't.
The second point was number 34 "Make mistakes faster." This goes hand-in-hand with what the head of IDEO Design said in that video "...make mistakes often to get results sooner." I believe that making mistakes is the part of design where the designer is exploring and trying different things out. They may not work out all time because they wouldn't be mistakes if they did, but it allows for new, more refined, ideas to flow in.
